The pieces are created to be framed and hung, or they can be mounted into stone fireplaces, entryways, back-splashes, showers, patio areas, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

A beautiful orange and red circular mineral deposit creates the gazing eye of the Bison.  These majestic animals roam freely in Yellowstone Park- a few hours from my home in Montana.    

  Golden pieces of slate make up the back and hump. and beautiful translucent rainbow hues create the neck and chin.

 This piece began with a curious natural indentation in the stone that appeared to be a perfect eye.  From there emerged the rearing stallion.  Supremacy denotes the at times fierce battle that ensues between the wild horses of the Pryor Mountains near Billings, Montana.  These majestic horses have run free in these mountains for years.

Ranching and the cowboy way of life has been a part of my family for generations.  Times are changing for this age old career.  Many of the old timers have gone, and never again will it ever be the same.  I tried to convey this idea, by using the muted tones of the rider, contrasting with the dark, rich color of the horse,    causing  the rider to fade into the backround.

This piece measures 32"x44" it depicts a Dakota Indian on his pony.  It is currently featured at the Common Grounds Gallery in Red Lodge Montana.
