This piece is almost completed, I just need to grout it.  It depicts a grizzly bear fresh out of hibernation and ready for it's feast.  

Here is a sketch that I started out with. My subject was clear, and the texture and colors take shape as I put the piece together.     Also I develop the background as I create the image.  

This is the Secondary step to creating the image.  The pieces are being cut, and placed.
